Shinesman is a comedy series that parodies shows like Power Rangers or Ronin Warriors. There were only ever two episodes released, with notably hilarious dubbing for a show. The manga series has 9 volumes and is drawn by Kaimu Tachibana, who often draws BL, so you can expect there to be innuendo or jokes about the male characters being too close.The main story in Shinesman is that Matsumoto has joined the Right Trading Company, and somehow was picked to become the newest member of a group of superheroes called "Shinesman" (which would sound like "Businessmen" in English). They fight evil aliens who are trying to take over the business world. It's light-hearted and undeniably cute.

While not originaly considered part of the Mazinger series, Koji Kabuto and the Mazinger mechas appear in this series, making it sort of a sequel. Grendizer introduced the concept of a transformable robot and a space mecha, concepts that were later taken into other mecha series. It was extremely popular in Japan, Canada, France, Italy, and the Arab world and has a strong following in those countries even today.

Set in the near future where Mother Nature has decided to fight back against all of the human encroachment.It has your standard apocalyptic scenario, but we're right in the middle of the apocalypse actually happening, rather than the aftermath. Vines and foliage entangle cities, as large wooden mech-like creatures called Arethusa (named after one of the mythical Greek Hesperides that tended the gardens in a remote corner of the world) rampage through cities.Our main character is Souma Shin, a punk kid out of Japan. We start off with him coming to visit his twin (?) brother Ken. All hell breaks loose as Shin finds a group of small kids being used for military purposes, and tries to save them in the confusion created by an Arethusa invading the compound. 

One day while Shirou was delivering a secret weapon to his colleague, he met Amane Mao, a super strong girl who is capable of lifting cars. Before they knew it, an ERROR, a monster that struck Old Tokyo 14 years ago, reappeared and started on a rampage. While he was arguing with his colleague over the use of the super weapon to save civilians, his colleague was blown away and died. Faced with death, Shirou had no choice but to combine with Mao with the super weapon and destroy the ERROR.

Wahhaman is a special robot soldier built ten thousand years ago by the Atlanteans. Found and dug up in present-day Toukyou, he doesn't remember anything, due to a nasty knock to the head he received at some point.
