Mais Eren, un jeune garçon, et sa soeur Mikasa vont être témoins d'un carnage. En effet, sorti de nulle part, un géant (encore plus grand que les précédents) fait son apparition dans la ville et détruit tout. Les 2 jeunes voient ainsi leur mère mangée par ce géant. Elen décide alors de prendre sa revanche et de tuer un par un tous les géants.
